GENESEE COUNTY/Bergen man indicted after his vehicle was found in flames near the Townline road railroad tracks

Timothy M. Brady, 57, of Jerico Rd., Bergen, has been indicted by a Genesee County Grand Jury and is accused of operating a 2003 GMC motor vehicle in an intoxicated condition on Townline road in Bergen on August 28, 2020.

Deputies responded to the area of 7711 Townline road in Bergen at 11:11p.m., for a report of a motor vehicle that had collided with a train.

When deputies arrived on scene, they found a motor vehicle completely engulfed in flames and the operator fled the scene on foot.

Brady was found a short time later not far from the scene.

He is accused of the crimes of DWI, as a misdemeanor and aggravated unlicensed operation 1st degree, a class E felony.

Brady was allegedly operating while his license or privilege to operate his a motor vehicle in NYS was suspended on or about January 10, 2020. The suspension was still in effect at the time of the above incident.
