On January 28, 2021 at about 9:23p.m. in the Village of Perry, Perry Police Officers responded to a possible burglary in progress on Lake Street.
Upon arrival, officers found the front door to the apartment open and found the suspect, Ryan Forrester, 41, no address provided, was inside the apartment. While officers attempted to investigate the situation, Forrester fled the from the officers on foot. Forrester led officers on a foot pursuit for several minutes before the officers placed Forrester into custody.
After a search of Forrester he was found to allegedly be in possession of a controlled substance which officers seized.
Forrester is charged with burglary in the second degree, criminal mischief in the fourth degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, resisting arrest, and obstructing governmental administration in the second degree.
Forrester has a return court date of March 9, 2021 at the Perry Village Court.
On January 24, 2021 at about 1:39a.m., in the Village of Perry, Perry Police Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for vehicle and traffic law violations.
Upon stopping the vehicle, it was found that the operator Kevin Dauber, 39, no address provided, was operating a vehicle on a public roadway with a revoked license for driving while ability impaired.
A search of Dauber and the vehicle showed Dauber was allegedly in possession of a controlled substance as well as multiple scales with the residue of the controlled substance on them.
Officers performed a screening test on the controlled substance which tested positive for methamphetamine.
Dauber is charged with aggravated unlicensed operation in the second degree, failure to stop at a stop sign, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fourth degree and criminal use of drug paraphernalia in the second degree.
Dauber will appear in court on March 9, 2021 at the Perry Village Court to answer the charges.
