WYOMING COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Erratic driver charged after traffic stop

Kenneth R. Ellsworth, 48, of Warsaw, was arrested following a 9-1-1 complaint of an erratic driver on February 12, 2021 at about 7:00p.m.

The Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center received a call regarding a vehicle being operated on Saltvale Road in an erratic manner. The vehicle was located by law enforcement on Fisher Road and stopped for multiple traffic violations.

The driver of the vehicle, Kenneth Ellsworth, showed signs of intoxication and following field sobriety testing, was arrested for DWI. Ellsworth was transported to the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office where he supplied a breath sample that was .18% or above.

Ellsworth is charged with failure to keep right, moving from lane unsafely, DWI, driving with a BAC of .08 or more, and aggravated DWI of .18% or more. Ellsworth was released with appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Warsaw Court at a later date.

Also assisting at the scene were the New York State Police.

Abdualnasser N. Saeid, 23, of Buffalo, NY, was arrested following a traffic stop on East Buffalo Street in the Village of Warsaw on February 11, 2021.

Saeid was stopped for speeding, 45mph in a marked 30mph zone, and was found to have a suspended registration for parking violations. While speaking with Saeid, he was also found to have a 3 month old child in the rear seat with an improperly installed car seat.

Saeid is charged with speeding, improperly restrained child, and operation with a suspended registration. He was released with appearance tickets and will answer the charges in the Village of Warsaw Court at a later date.

Assisting at the scene was the Warsaw Police Department. Officers assisted Saeid in properly installing the child safety seat prior to him leaving the scene.
