BATAVIA POLICE REPORT/Harvester avenue man charged after allegedly violating an order of protection

Mark L. Farley, 52, of Harvester avenue, Batavia, is charged with criminal contempt 1st, harassment 2nd, burglary 2nd and criminal mischief 4th, after allegedly violating an order of protection by forcefully entering a local residence and having physical contact with the protected party on February 8, 2021 at 9:57p.m..

Farley was arraigned in City Court and held on bail set at $10,000 A , $20,000 B and $30,000 E. He will re-appear in court on March 10, 2021.

Robert D. Wood, 30, of Wood St., Batavia, is charged with criminal contempt 2nd, endangering the welfare of a child, obstructing governmental administration and burglary 2nd, after a domestic incident on February 13, 2021 at 5:41p.m.

Wood was arraigned in City Court by Judge Burns and remanded to the jail in lieu of $5,000A, $10,000 B and $20,000 E. He is scheduled to re-appear in court on March 18, 2021 at 1:30p.m.

Nicholas C. Longhini, 32, of Ryan Rd., Wyoming, NY, is charged with attempted robbery, criminal mischief and criminal contempt, following an incident that occurred at a Batavia residence on February 6, 2021 at 4:12p.m.

Longhini was issued an appearance ticket after he turned himself in at the Batavia Police Department. He will appear in City Court on April 13, 2021 at 1:00p.m.

Dawn M. Lockwood, 51, of Bank St., Batavia, is charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle and grand larceny 4th, following an investigation at an apartment complex on South Main street on February 11, 2021 at 2:00p.m.

Lockwood allegedly took and used a vehicle, along with a debit card of a friend without permission.

Lockwood was released with appearance tickets and will appear in City Court on May 11, 2021 at 1:00p.m.

William H. Smith, 43, of James St., Batavia, is charged with DWI, driving across hazard markings and moving from a lane unsafely, after a motor vehicle accident at 90 Main street on February 7, 2021 at 9:59 p.m.

Smith allegedly was driving under the influence of alcohol and failed field sobriety tests and was arrested during a Super Bowl DWI Crackdown.

He was processed at the Batavia Police Department and was released on uniform traffic tickets and will appear in City Court on April 6, 2021 at 1:00p.m.

Tammy A. Cary, 45, of Bank St., Batavia, is charged with harassment 2nd after an incident on Bank street on February 14, 2021 at 12:18a.m.

Cary allegedly attacked two people in their shared apartment.

She was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on May 17, 2021 at 1:00p.m.

Rosemary R. Waters, 34, of Jackson St., Batavia, was arrested on a warrant on February 15, 2021, out of City Court, for petit larceny and criminal possession of a controlled substance on East Main street from December 13, 2020.

Waters was also arrested on another warrant for failure to appear after being arrested on August 17, 2020 for DWAI/drugs. She was issued appearance tickets and released, but allegedly failed to appear in court.

Waters was arraigned on both warrants and released on recognizance. She will appear in City Court on March 4, 2021.
