On February 17, 2021, Johnathan Falk, 22, of Batavia, was arrested on two warrants stemming from previous arrests.
In January 2020, Falk was arrested and charged with petit larceny in the Town of Warsaw. He was released at that time as the charge did not qualify for bail under bail reform laws.
Falk was then arrested in January of 2020 and charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree and criminal sale of a controlled substance in the fourth degree. He was again released from custody as the offenses did not qualify for bail.
Then in June 2020, Falk was arrested on two counts of felony criminal sale of a controlled substance 2nd and criminal possession of a controlled substance 2nd. He was again released from custody.
Falk was indicted on the felony charges in August 2020. He never appeared in court, and warrants were issued from Wyoming County Court and from the Town of Warsaw Court.
Falk was arrested on the warrants on February 17, 2021. He is additionally charged with bail jumping in the third Degree, a misdemeanor.
Falk was arraigned in Warsaw Town Court and committed to jail in lieu of bail. He is to appear in Wyoming County Court at a later date.
The Genesee County Sheriff’s Office assisted with locating and arresting Falk.
Victor N. Delcid Guevara, 28, of Brentwood, Maryland, was arrested following a traffic stop on Route 20A in the Town of Perry on February 20, 2021.
Delcid Guevara was stopped for a traffic infraction when he was found to be operating with a suspended driver’s license out of the State of Maryland. Delcid Guevara was also operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock device, and Delcid Guevara was required to have an ignition interlock device installed in any vehicle he operated.
He is charged with operating out of ignition interlock restrictions, unlicensed operator, and driver’s view obstructed. Delcid Guevara was issued an appearance ticket to answer the charges in the Town of Perry Court on March 10, 2021.
On February 18, 2021 at approximately 12:23a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Route 20A in the Town of Sheldon for a violation of the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law.
Upon speaking with the occupants of the vehicle, deputies believed they were involved in illegal activity which prompted a probable cause search of the vehicle.
Following a search of the vehicle, Carmine Criscione, 24, of Hempstead, NY, a passenger, was found to allegedly be in possession of approximately 28 grams of suspected cocaine and a large quantity of U.S. Currency.
He is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd degree, intent to sell (B felony).
Criscione was arraigned and released on his own recognizance, with a future court date scheduled in Wyoming County Court.
Two male subjects were charged following a traffic stop on Route 20A in the Town of Warsaw on February 17, 2021.
A 2017 BMW was stopped for erratic operation on Route 20A near Toolhouse Road. The odor of marijuana was observed coming from within the vehicle, and a vehicle search led to the seizure of two bags of marijuana.
The driver, Breon J. Thrasher, 27, of NY, NY, was issued an appearance ticket for unlawful possession of marijuana in the second degree and moving from a lane unsafely.
The rear passenger, David J. Kennebrew, 26, of NY,NY, was issued an appearance ticket for unlawful possession of marijuana. Both are scheduled to answer the charges in the Town of Warsaw Court at a later date.
Thrasher was found to be on NYS Parole following a 2013 conviction of conspiracy in the second degree and attempted murder.
Kennebrew was found to have been convicted in 2013 for conspiracy in the second Degree and had since been released from NYS Parole Supervision.
Assisting at the scene of the traffic stop were the Warsaw Police Department and NYSP Trooper Hoy with K9 Rison.
On February 14, 2021, at around 3:22p.m., a deputy with the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office was patrolling northbound on South Main Street, in the Village of Perry, when he observed a grey pickup truck traveling southbound with a 2020 inspection sticker in the front windshield.
A traffic enforcement stop was conducted near Camp Road.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as Will R. Thompson, 21, of Byron. A DMV data check showed the vehicle’s inspection was expired from November 30, 2020, and Thompson’s license was suspended 2 times for failure to answer a summons in the Town of Hastings on February 8, 2021.
Thompson is charged with uninspected motor vehicle and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 3rd degree. Following processing roadside, Thompson was released with an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Village of Perry Court at a later date.
Two 17 year old males were charged following a missing person report in the Town of Warsaw on February 22, 2021.
While investigating a missing person report, the missing juvenile was located inside a residence in the Town of Warsaw. Within the bedroom the juvenile was located, deputies recovered concentrated cannabis and numerous other pieces of drug paraphernalia.
Both juveniles were issued appearance tickets and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, and the juvenile who resided at the residence was also charged with criminal nuisance in the second degree. Both are to answer their respective charges in Wyoming County Family Court at a later date.
