Timothy M. Tundo, 57, of Linden Rd., Bethany, is facing felony illegal firearms and drug charges after the Genesee County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at Tundo’s residence on February 23, 2021.
On Tuesday morning, upon searching Tundo’s home, he was allegedly found to be in possession of a quantity of LSD, with intent to sell it, ten high capacity magazines, an ammunition belt, brass knuckles, an unmarked unregistered “ghost gun”(AR-15 style pistol), two machine guns(fully automatic rifles), a quantity of marijuana, 5 assault weapons and a quantity of U.S. currency.
Tundo is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 5th, a class D felony, two counts of criminal possession of a weapon 3rd, a class D felony, criminal possession of marijuana 2nd, a class D felony, 11 counts of criminal possession of a weapon 3rd, a class D felony, criminal possession of a weapon 3rd, a class D felony, 5 counts of criminal possession of an assault weapon 3rd, a class D felony, and two counts criminal possession of a weapon 4th, a misdemeanor.
Tundo was arrested and held in lieu of bail at the Genesee County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Genesee County Court at a later date.
Task Force members were assisted by Genesee County Sheriff’s Deputies, State Police, VGNET, State Police SORT, State Police CCERT and the Genesee County District Attorney’s Office.
