GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Pair arrested after assault in Alabama

The Genesee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an assault on Bloomingdale road in Alabama that occurred on July 24, 2021.

Deputies say a victim allegedly suffered a head laceration after being struck with a beer bottle.

As a result, Jarrett C. Coniglio, 28, was arrested and is charged with assault 2nd, criminal possession of a weapon 3rd, resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration 2nd.

In addition, Justice C. Coniglio, 31, was also arrested and charged with obstructing governmental administration 2nd and resisting arrest.

Both subjects allegedly were hostile and combative with Genesee County Sheriff’s Deputies during the course of their investigation into the incident. Sheriff’s Department K-9 Frankie assisted in the apprehension of both subjects.

The Coniglios were arraigned in Alabama Town Court.

Justice was released on his own recognizance and then turned over to the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office on a warrant.

Jarrett was remanded to the Genesee County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail.

Antonio J. Goodson, 31, of State St., Batavia, is charged with three counts of petit larceny after allegedly shoplifting at Walmart, on Veteran’s Memorial Drive on July 22nd, 24th and 25th.

Goodson was issued three appearance tickets and was transported to the Genesee County Jail for processing. He was then released and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Batavia Court on August 12, 2021 at 1:00p.m.

Elizabeth M. Thompson, 31, of Montclair Ave., Batavia, is charged with petit larceny after allegedly stealing $113. 28 worth of merchandise at Walmart on Veteran’s Memorial Drive on July 21, 2021.

Thompson allegedly walked pass all points of sale without paying for items. She was transported to the Genesee County Jail for prints and photos and released on an appearance ticket to appear in the Town of Batavia Court on August 19, 2021 at 1:00p.m.
