The Genesee County Drug Task Force arrested two City of Batavia residents on Raymond avenue on October 12, 2021, after an investigation into drug sales in the City of Batavia. A search warrant was issued on August 16, 2021, and drugs and firearms were allegedly located.
Cecilia Tina Rodriguez, 32, is charged with criminal nuisance 1st, a class E felony, conspiracy 4th, a class E felony, criminal possession of a weapon 4th, an A misdemeanor, criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th, a class A misdemeanor, two counts of criminal using drug paraphernalia 2nd, a class A misdemeanor, and endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor.
Rodriguez was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on October 20, 2021 at 1:30p.m.
Herbert Bernard Gennis III, 28, is charged with criminal possession of a weapon 3rd, a class D felony, criminal nuisance 1st, a class E felony, conspiracy 4th, a class E felony, criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th, a class A misdemeanor, two counts of criminal using drug paraphernalia 2nd, a class A misdemeanor, and endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor.
Gennis III was arraigned in City Court by Justice Burns and released under the supervision of Genesee Justice and will re-appear in City Court on October 21, 2021 at 1:30p.m.
