WYOMING COUNTY/Orangeville home is a total loss after Sunday morning fire

An Orangeville home is a total loss after fire caused $175,000 in damages on Sunday morning.

Seven fire companies responded to 2506 Snyder road about 7:21a.m., the residence is owned by Lance Pearl.

The home and all of its contents were lost in the fire. The Red Cross along with other family members are assisting the occupants.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Fire crews from Varysburg, Attica, Bennington, Harris Corners, North Java, Sheldon and Warsaw responded to the scene and were on location for about 5 hours. Also assisting on scene, Wyoming County Emergency Services, the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Department, Town of Orangeville, National Grid and the NYS Police.
