The Pembroke Girls Basketball team has raised over $22,000 and counting after the 2022 “Shooting for a Cure” match up with the Oakfield-Alabama Hornets on Friday night. You can still donate by following this link:

The event was started in honor of breast cancer survivor Toni Funke and other cancer survivors in the area. The event, in its 11th year, has raised more than $222,000 for cancer research at Roswell Park Cancer Center in Buffalo.
The JV Pembroke Dragons came out on top on Friday evening and the Oakfield-Alabama Varsity won 58-38.
