Chief Michael J. Grover reports the arrest of a Perry resident on a felony charge following an
investigation by the Perry Police Department.
On March 18th, 2022, Officer McKaylee Croll arrested 29-year-old Scott J. Marshall, a current registered sex offender and parolee, at his residence in the Village of Perry. Marshall is charged with strangulation in the second degree: causing physical injury-sexually motivated.
According to Officer Croll, after a thorough investigation, Marshall allegedly admitted to the above crime.
Marshall was processed at the Perry Police Department and was arraigned in Perry Village Court by the Honorable Judge Kelsey on the below charge.
Penal Law- 121.12 00X Strangulation 2nd
: Causing Physical Injury-Sexually Motivated
Marshall was remanded to Wyoming County Jail and held without bail. He is to appear in Perry
Village Court on April 12, 2022.
