NYS Police Report/Varysburg man jailed after domestic incidents

On June 12, 2022, Troopers out of SP Warsaw arrested Kodie R. Skeels, 24, of Varysburg, NY, for strangulation 2nd, obstruction of breathing, assault 2nd and assault 3rd.

On June 12, 2022 Troopers out of SP Warsaw received an arrest warrant for Skeels. Troopers did locate Skeels at his residence and he was taken into custody.  Skeels had allegedly been involved in domestic incidents on two different dates. He was transported to SP Warsaw for processing and arraigned in the town of Warsaw. Skeels was remanded to the Wyoming County jail in lieu of $25,000.00 cash, $50,000.00 bond and $75,000.00 partially secured bond.

Skeels is set to appear in the town of Sheldon court on June 28, 2022.

On June 15, 2022, SP Batavia Troopers arrested Paula A. Kingdollar, 53, of Covington, NY, for petit larceny.

On June 15, 2022, Troopers investigating a larceny complaint at a produce stand on Bank Street Road in the town of Batavia, determined Kingdollar had allegedly taken produce valued at $33.00 without paying for it.

Kingdollar was arrested and released with an appearance ticket for Batavia Town Court, where she is due to appear in July.

On June 16, 2022, Troopers out of SP Warsaw arrested Thomas J. Bellanca, 36, of Dansville, NY for driving while intoxicated and aggravated DWI.

On June 16, 2022, Troopers received a description of a vehicle with erratic operation on Simmons road in the town of Covington. Troopers located the described vehicle in the ditch. Bellanca was in the vehicle and attempted to take off when Troopers approached the vehicle. He was placed under arrest after failing field sobriety tests and transported to SP Warsaw for processing. Bellanca recorded a .21% BAC.

He was issued traffic tickets returnable to the town of Perry court for July 6, 2022.

On June 12, 2022, Troopers out of SP Warsaw arrested Shavon M. Brown, 36, of Buffalo, NY, for criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell and introducing contraband into a prison.

On June 12, 2022, Troopers had been contacted by NYSDOCCS from Attica Correctional Facility that Brown was found to allegedly be in possession of contraband on her person. Brown was arrested and transported to SP Warsaw for processing. She was arraigned in the town of Attica and released.

Brown was issued appearance tickets returnable to the town of Attica town court for August 1, 2022.

On June 11, 2022, Troopers out of SP Warsaw with the assistance of the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision, arrested Megan R. Cooper, 24, of Buffalo, NY, for promoting prison contraband 2nd.

Troopers arrested Cooper for allegedly having marijuana on her person while inside the Wyoming Correctional Facility.  Cooper was transported to SP Warsaw for processing and released on appearance tickets returnable to Attica town court at a later date.
