On Thursday, June 30, 2022, Kelly Ashcraft, 45, appeared for sentencing in Wyoming County Court on her convictions for grand larceny 2nd degree and falsifying business records 1st degree. The Honorable Michael M. Mohun sentenced Ashcraft as follows:

GRAND LARCENY IN THE SECOND DEGREE – 2 1/3 to 7 years prison
FORGERY IN THE SECOND DEGREE – 2 to 6 years prison
FALSIFYING BUSINESS RECORDS IN THE FIRST DEGREE – 1 1/3 to 4 years

Judge Mohun ordered that all the sentences run concurrent to each other (as required by
law) and that she pay $105,024.78.

The case was prosecuted by First Assistant District Attorney Vincent A. Hemming. Michael Manusia, Esq. represented the defendant.

“This defendant has done nothing to show remorse for breaching trust of the small businesses that make up the Chamber of Commerce. She failed to pay any of $105,000 that she stole from the Chamber of
Commerce and its members. This sentence continues to send a message that violating the
community’s trust will not be tolerated,” District Attorney Donald O’Geen says.
