Two Batavia, NY residents have been committed to the Wyoming County Jail following a shoplifting complaint at Walmart in the Town of Warsaw.
On June 23, 2022, an Asset Protection Investigator from the Warsaw Walmart Store contacted the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office regarding the theft of multiple items by two individuals. It was alleged that a male and female had entered the store, selected a Motorola cell phone, an HP laptop computer, a bag, and two knives, and the couple was alleged to have then concealed the items in a bag and walked out of the store without making any attempt to pay for the items.
Following an investigation, Crystal A. Mounts, 45, and Andrew J. Draper, 43, were identified as the suspects. It was determined there was an active order of protection keeping Draper away from Mounts which had been in effect at the time of the theft. Mounts was also found to have been previously banned from entering any Walmart Stores, Inc. property.
On June 26, 2022, Mounts and Draper were arrested by the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office at a separate complaint. Wyoming County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the Genesee County Jail to interview Mounts and Draper, and at that time Mounts was found to allegedly be in possession of the stolen Motorola cell phone. Mounts and Draper were then arrested and transported back to the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office.
Mounts is charged with burglary in the third degree, a class D felony, and petit larceny. Mounts was found to be at liberty on multiple open larceny charges, and she was also found to be a two-time convicted felon. Mounts was arraigned in Warsaw Town Court where she was committed to the Wyoming County Jail without bail.
Draper is charged with petit larceny and criminal contempt in the second degree. Draper was found to be at liberty on multiple open larceny charges and multiple open criminal contempt charges. Draper was arraigned in Warsaw Town Court where he was committed to the Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $5,000.00 cash bail, $10,000.00 bond, or $15,000.00 partially secured bond.
Both Mounts and Draper are scheduled for further court proceedings on July 11, 2022, in Warsaw Town Court.
Also assisting in the investigation, the Batavia Police Department, Orleans County Sheriff’s Office, and Asset Protection Investigators at the Albion Walmart store.

A burglary suspect was identified and arrested following anonymous tips to the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office Confidential Tip Line.
On June 20, 2022 an Asset Protection Investigator at the Warsaw Walmart store contacted the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office regarding the theft of three Nintendo Switch Controllers valued at $237.00.
Photographs of the suspect and vehicle were secured, and a criminal investigation was initiated. A request for assistance in identifying the suspect was made to the public by the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office via a post to their Facebook page.
Following the Facebook post, multiple anonymous tips were received. Wyoming County Sheriff’s Deputies were then able to positively identify the female suspect as Alieshia J. Davila, age 39, of Mount Morris, NY.
Davila was also found to have allegedly sold the stolen items to a pawn shop approximately one hour after the theft had occurred. Davila was found to be a four-time convicted felon.
On June 28, 2022, an arrest warrant was issued for Davila by Warsaw Town Court.
Davila is charged with burglary in the third Degree, a class D felony, petit larceny, aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree, and unlicensed operation.
Wyoming County Sheriff’s Deputies, with the assistance of Mount Morris Police Department, located and
arrested Davila in the Village of Mount Morris. Davila was transported to Warsaw Town Court where she was arraigned, and following arraignment Davila was committed to the Wyoming County Jail without bail.
Davila is scheduled to return to Warsaw Town Court on July 11, 2022, for further court proceedings

Wyoming County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the Walmart store in the Town of Warsaw for the report from an Asset Protection Investigator that a male was currently pushing a cartful of unpaid merchandise out the side lawn and garden exit.
Upon arrival, the suspect was apprehended as he was attempting to drive out of the parking lot with the
stolen merchandise. All merchandise, with a total value of $350.23, was recovered and returned to the store.
Shawn M. Spaich, Sr., 42, of Warsaw, NY, a convicted felon, was arrested and charged with one count of petit larceny. Spaich was issued an appearance ticket to answer the charge in Warsaw Town Court on July 11, 2022.

Jonathan M. Reeson, 34, of Lockport, NY, was arrested following an investigation on Route 19A in the Town of Genesee Falls on June 27, 2022.
Reeson was approached by Wyoming County Sheriff’s Deputies after he pulled into the driveway of a residence where a previous complaint was being investigated. During the encounter, Reeson was found to allegedly be in possession of an Zolpidem[Ambien] pill. Reason was also found to allegedly be in possession of a bludgeon underneath the front right passenger seat of his vehicle.
Reeson, a two-time convicted felon out of the State of Wyoming, was taken into custody and charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, a class D felony and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree.
Reeson was arraigned in Wyoming County Court where he was released on his own recognizance in conformance with NYS Bail Reform.
Reeson is scheduled to return to Genesee Falls Town Court on August 10, 2022, for further court proceedings.

Winston D. Boney, 28, of Austin, TX, was arrested following a traffic stop on Route 20A in the Town of Perry on June 26, 2022.
Boney was the operator of a vehicle stopped for erratic operation.
During roadside interview, reasonable suspicious was developed and consent to search the vehicle was granted. During the search of the vehicle, more than three ounces of cannabis/twenty-four grams of concentrated cannabis were seized, and the contraband was located hidden underneath
the spare tire which was in a compartment under the rear floor.
It was determined the items were being driven from Colorado to a location on the east side of New York State.
Boney was arrested and issued an appearance ticket on the charges of unlawful possession of cannabis and failure to keep right. Boney is scheduled to answer the charges in Perry Town Court on July 13, 2022.
