Thomas D. Rood, 59, of Fort Mill, S. Carolina, was arrested following a three-vehicle collision on Route 20A at Toolhouse Road in the Town of Warsaw on August 16, 2022.
Rood was found to be the operator of a Dodge Ram which was the third vehicle in a line of traffic. After the first vehicle in line stopped to await a safe time to make a left turn, Rood’s vehicle struck the second vehicle in line, causing the second vehicle in line to strike the lead vehicle. The collision led to no injuries, however one of the vehicles was towed from the scene due to damage.
Rood was found to have suspended operating privileges in New York State since 1990 where he was alleged to have failed to answer a summons out of the Livingston County, Town of Geneseo.
Rood is charged with aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd degree and following too closely. He was issued an appearance ticket and will answer the charges in Warsaw Town Court on August 29, 2022.

On the evening of August 6, 2022, deputies conducted a traffic stop of a motorcycle that ran the stop sign on Dunham road at Route 98 in the Town of Attica.
The operator identified himself as James K. Clarke, 31, of Holley, NY. Deputies confirmed Clarke to have multiple suspensions of his driving privileges in New York. According to deputies, Clarke also advised that he was in possession of Psilocybin Mushrooms and was drinking alcohol and using marijuana within the last two hours.
Deputies observed Clarke to have obvious signs of impairment.
Clarke was asked to submit to standardized field sobriety testing and refused.
He was taken into custody for DWI, where he then refused to submit to a chemical test to determine the alcohol content of his blood.
Clarke was subsequently arrested and charged with DWI as a felony due to two previous convictions
within ten years, aggravated unlicensed operation in the 2nd degree, aggravated unlicensed operation in the 1st degree, refusal to take a breath test, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree, and failure to stop at a stop sign.
He was arraigned in the Town of Warsaw Court and is due to appear in Attica Town Court on 08/29/22 at 9:30 a.m.

Diane M. Little, 50, of Bliss, NY, was arrested following a traffic stop on Route 98 near Farm Road in the Town of Orangeville on August 15, 2022.
Little was found to be driving a Nissan Murano while having a non-driver identification card with a status of revoked. She also had an active revocation following a 2019 conviction for DWAI/drugs.
Little’s vehicle was towed from the scene, and she was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation 2nd degree, aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd degree, unlicensed operation, and operating in violation of restrictions.
Little was issued an appearance ticket to answer the charges in Orangeville Town Court on August 31, 2022.
