A traffic stop for a fully tinted front windshield led to the arrest of two Buffalo area residents on October 10, 2022. Following the traffic stop, on Route 20A at Liberty Street in the Village of Warsaw, Wyoming County Sheriff’s deputies seized one large capacity ammunition feeding device, a Glock magazine loaded with fifteen [15] .40 caliber rounds, a 5.4-ounce bag of cannabis and two fraudulently made government instruments, a New York State driver’s license and a New Jersey driver’s license.
The driver, Nassea K. Hallingquest, 20, is charged with criminal possession of a weapon 3rd degree, a class D violent felony, possession of a forged instrument 2nd degree, a class D felony, unlawful possession of cannabis, non-transparent front windshield, and no front license plate.
The passenger, Jivon C. Lester, 20, is charged with criminal possession of a weapon 3rd degree, a class D violent felony, and possession of a forged instrument 2nd degree, a class D felony.
Both Hallingquest and Lester were arraigned in Warsaw Village Court, and both were committed to the Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $20,000.00 cash, $40,000.00 bond, or $80,000.00 partially secured bond. Both are scheduled to return to Warsaw Village Court on October 17, 2022 for further court proceedings.
