Daniel Patrick Hurley received news this past Thursday that his historic store, T.O. Castle & Son Mercantile Store at 12348 Maple Ridge road in Millville, NY, Orleans County-Town of Shelby, is now on the National Register of Historic Places. It is the first building in Millville to hold that designation, other than the cemetery in Millville(1871) which was designated in 2007. The approval was received from the NYS Board of Historic Preservation on December 8, 2022 after their 190th meeting in Albany at the NYS Museum -Huxley Theatre.
