Staff of the Western New York Independent Living Family of Agencies (WNYIL) are honored to be among the presenters at the virtual LiveOn NY’s 33rd Annual Conference on Aging and Sponsor Expo, “Building the Future Together” On the opening Day, Wednesday January 25, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM, Independent Living of the Genesee Region (ILGR) Director Rae Frank will lead the first of 14 workshops: “Workshop 1: Impacting the Community and Adapting to the Times”, featuring presenters from ILGR in Batavia, Mental Health Peer Connection and the Independent Living Center, both in Buffalo.
For more than 30 years, LiveOn NY has convened over 500 aging services professionals across New York at their Annual Conference on Aging & Vendor Show to offer opportunities for professional development and networking and to provide a forum for people to learn about creative, innovative approaches in the world of aging services. Taking place virtually from January 25th-27th, 2023, the Conference will feature an inspiring keynote speaker, Melanie Rivera, CEO of Breaker28, a non-profit which works to build leaders and organizations with H.E.A.R.T. — healthy, equitable, anti-racist, real and trust-centered.
Anyone interested is invited to join one’s fellow providers, advocates, and visionaries who are driving change in the aging sector across the Empire State and beyond as they work together to build a community for a more equitable New York for us all.
