A Kendall man was arrested following a multi-county string of larcenies occurring at several
WNY Wal-Marts.
Christopher A. Debuck, 42, of Kendall, NY, was arrested by the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office
following several petit larceny investigations at Wal-Mart in the Town of Warsaw. It was
found that Debuck was allegedly stealing sports trading cards from several Wal-Mart locations in
Wyoming, Livingston, Genesee, Orleans, and Monroe Counties.
Debuck was located exiting the store on March 23, 2023 in Warsaw, and was found to allegedly be in possession of over $150.00 dollars in stolen cards. It was known by law enforcement that Debuck had just allegedly stolen from Wal-Mart in Geneseo and located inside of his vehicle was over $400.00 worth of stolen sports cards from that store.
Debuck was allegedly reselling and profiting from the stolen cards by selling them online.
Debuck is charged with scheme to defraud in the first degree, class E felony, criminal
possession of stolen property fifth degree, a class A misdemeanor, and three counts of petit Larceny, a class A misdemeanor.
Debuck was released with an appearance ticket to return to the Town of Warsaw Court on
April 10, 2023.

On March 20, 2023, at approximately 5:30p.m., a deputy from the Wyoming County Sheriff’s
Office conducted a traffic stop on Route 20A in the Town of Perry, NY after observing
multiple violations of the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law.
While speaking with the operator and lone occupant of the vehicle, Akid F. Hamood, 32, of Staten Island, NY, the investigating Deputy established reasonable suspicion that a crime was occurring.
Hamood was found to be allegedly in possession of approximately 10.6 pounds of cannabis, along with $44,770.00 in United States currency, packaged and concealed in a manner consistent with criminal activity.
Hamood is charged with criminal possession of cannabis in the first degree, money laundering in the fourth degree, failure to keep right and speeding in a zone.
Hamood was arraigned in the Town of Perry Court, where he was released on his own recognizance, in
accordance with New York State Bail Reform. He is scheduled to re-appear in the Town
of Perry Court at a later date for further proceedings.
