Genesee County, NY – It is with great pleasure to announce the winners of the First Annual Genesee
County “I Voted” sticker contest coordinated by the Genesee County Board of Elections. The Grand Prize
and the 1st Place design will be placed on stickers given out to voters as they cast ballots and the other
winning designs will be used for voter outreach and on social media.
Grand Prize: Elijah Webster, Pavilion Central School – Portrait of Women’s suffrage leaders Susan B.
Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton
1st Place: Olivia Gillard, Batavia Middle School – Eagle over Bars
2nd Place: Logan Almekinder, Pavilion Central School – City Skyline
3rd Place: Kelly Parsons, Byron Bergen School – I Voted Teddy Bear
Honorable Mention: Summer Snyder, Alexander Central School – I Voted Snail on Stars and Bars
Honorable Mention: Piper Hargrave, Alexander Central School – I Voted Epic on Stars and Bars

“It is wonderful to involve our Genesee County students in our electoral process,” said Democratic
Election Commissioner Lorie Longhany. “It will be exciting to see the student’s graphic designs in print
and used in our outreach and distributed to voters during early voting and on election day. As an artist
and part-time art instructor, I was so pleased with all the designs.”
