The Batavia Police Department wins in dramatic fashion and defeats the City of Batavia Fire Department 14-13, in the 3rd Annual Battle of the Badges softball game held at Dwyer Stadium on Saturday evening.
Batavia PD had trailed the whole game and in the final inning they seal the deal and win their first softball game in a Battle of the Badges matchup. City Fire had held a 2-0 record over Batavia PD.
Batavia Police are on a roll. They won the first Battle of the Badges ice hockey matchup with City Fire last year.
Proceeds from the game are being donated to the Michael Napoleone Foundation this year.
