During the incident Batavia High School and GV BOCES were placed into “lockout” status as a precaution until the suspect was taken into custody. Officers were assisted by the Genesee County Emergency Dispatch Center, Genesee County Sheriff’s Office personnel and New York State Police Troop A personnel.
An illegal handgun was recovered.
