WYOMING COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/November 8, 2023

On November 6th, 2023, at about 1:47a.m., a Wyoming County Sheriff’s deputy was patrolling
southbound on South Main Street in the Village of Perry, when a black four door sedan was
observed turning west onto Washington Boulevard with no taillights illuminated.

A vehicle and traffic enforcement stop was conducted on South Federal Street near Washington Boulevard and the operator of the vehicle was identified as Angela M. Jones, 50, of Perry, NY. A driver’s
license check showed that Jones had a non-driver ID only that was revoked.

At around 1:55am, Jones was placed under arrest and was ultimately charged with Aggravated
Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 3rd Degree, Unlicensed Operator and No/Inadequate Taillights.

Jones was processed roadside and released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Perry Village Court at a later date.

On November 6th, 2023, at about 3:49a.m., a Wyoming County Sheriff’s deputy was operating stationary
patrol on State Route 20A, in the Town of Warsaw, when a grey four door sport utility vehicle was
observed traveling westbound with the driver’s side headlight not illuminated.

A vehicle and traffic enforcement stop was conducted near Smallwood Road and the driver was identified as Tammy J. Watson, 51, of Warsaw, NY. A driver’s license check showed Watson’s driving privileges were revoked in New York, even though she possessed a valid Arizona driver’s license.

At about 4:00a.m., Watson was placed under arrest and was ultimately charged with Aggravated
Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 3rd degree and No/Inadequate Headlights.

Watson was processed roadside and released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Warsaw Town Court at a later date.

On November 4, 2023, at approximately 2:17 a.m., a Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office deputy
conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a speed violation on Route 39 in the Town of Castile.

After speaking with the operator of the vehicle, Hunter Akin, 23, of Perry, NY, the Deputy recognized alleged signs of impairment from alcohol. Akin was asked to perform Standardized Field Sobriety Testing which he performed poorly on. Akin was then transported to the Perry Police Department where he submitted to a breath test to determine his blood alcohol content (BAC). The test showed AKIN had a BAC of .08% or higher.

Akin was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, DWI/ .08% BAC or Higher, and other traffic
infractions. Akin was released on appearance tickets and is to appear in Castile Town Court on
November 20, 2023
