On December 11, 2023, Troopers out of SP Batavia charged Sasha O. Wilson, 37, of Batavia, NY with Petit Larceny.

On December 11, 2023, at 4:15 P.M., Troopers out of SP Batavia were dispatched to Walmart on Veterans Memorial Drive in the town of Batavia for a larceny complaint.  Troopers worked with Walmart loss-prevention who allege that Wilson has been identified as stealing from Walmart on three separate occasions dating back to November 2023.  

Wilson allegedly stole merchandise, passing all points of purchase without paying.  Wilson was arrested and transported to SP Batavia for processing.
Wilson was issued appearance tickets returnable to the town of Batavia Court for a later date in January 2024.

On December 6, 2023, Troopers out of SP Batavia charged Stephen R. Chiocco, 59, of Bergen, NY with Driving While Intoxicated- BAC > .08% and other vehicle and traffic infractions.

On December 6, 2023, at 4:46 P.M., Troopers out of SP Batavia stopped Chiocco on Route 262 in the town of Bergen for traffic infractions. While interviewing Chiocco, an odor of alcoholic beverage was allegedly present. He was arrested after failing field sobriety tests. Chiocco was transported to SP Batavia for processing and recorded a .12% BAC.

Chiocco was issued traffic tickets returnable to the town of Bergen Court for a later date in January 2024.

On December 8, 2023, Troopers out of SP Machias charged Lynne R. Rea, 61, of Arcade, NY, for Driving While Intoxicated by drugs and other vehicle and traffic tickets. 

On December 8, 2023, at 5:00 P.M., Troopers out of SP Machias stopped Rea on Route 16 in the village of Delevan for traffic infractions. While interviewing Rea, an odor of burnt cannabis was allegedly present. Rea was arrested after failing field sobriety tests. Rea was transported to SP Machias for processing and was evaluated by a Drug Recognition Officer.

Rea was issued traffic tickets returnable to the town of Yorkshire Court for a later date in December 2023
