On December 19th, 2023, the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office charged the following:
Deajah D. Johnson, age 22, of Augustine Street, Rochester NY, is charged with Petit Larceny- class A Misdemeanor, and Conspiracy 6th Degree- class B Misdemeanor
Diamond L. Reed, age 25, of Electric Avenue, Rochester NY, is charged with Petit Larceny- class A Misdemeanor, and Conspiracy 6th Degree- class B Misdemeanor
Jahki T. Jackson, age 24, of State Street, Rochester NY, is charged with Petit Larceny- class A Misdemeanor and Conspiracy 6th Degree- class B Misdemeanor, and Obstruction of Governmental Administration 2nd Degree- class A Misdemeanor
On December 19th, 2023, the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office responded to a larceny in progress at
Walmart, 4133 Veteran’s Memorial Drive in Batavia.
As Deputies arrived on scene, the three individuals in question were allegedly pushing out a cart full of stolen items. Reed and Johnson were taken into custody without incident.
Jackson took off on foot and after a brief pursuit, Jackson was taken into custody.
Johnson, Reed and Jackson allegedly stole merchandise from the store.
Johnson, Reed and Jackson were released on appearance tickets and are due in Town of Batavia
Court on January 9, 2024 at 10:00a.m.
Assisting in the investigation was Sergeant Michael Lute, Investigator Ryan DeLong, Investigator Erik Andre, Deputy Schildwaster, Deputy Jeremy McClellan, Deputy Travis DeMuth and Deputy Jenna Ferrando.

Ashley M. Drexinger, 31, of Kensington Avenue, and Emillia C.M. Santiago, 28, of Stevens Street, both of Buffalo, NY, are each charged with Petit Larceny, Conspiracy 6th degree and Possession of Burglary Tools, after being stopped leaving Dick’s Sporting Goods, at 4180 Veteran’s Memorial Drive, on December 14, 2023 at 7:59p.m.
Both Drexinger and Santiago had alleged stolen goods in their handbags as they were leaving the store.
Both Drexinger and Santiago were transported to the Genesee County Jail and arraigned in CAP Court on December 15, 2023 at 9:00a.m.

Brant G. Matthews, 29, of LeRoy, NY, is charged with two counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree, and two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree, both class B felonies, after being taken into custody on a Genesee County Sheriff’s Department sealed indictment warrant out of Genesee County Court on December 18, 2023.
Matthews allegedly sold a quantity of crack cocaine to an agent of the Genesee County Drug Task Force in the City of Batavia on two occasions.
Matthews was arraigned in Genesee County Court and released in his own recognizance in accordance with bail reform laws.
Task Force members were assisted by Uniformed Deputies of the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office, Batavia Police Department and the Genesee County District Attorney’s Office.

Kenneth W. Scott, 30, of Daniel Drive, Webster, NY, is charged with Introducing Dangerous Contraband into a Prison in the 1st degree, after allegedly introducing dangerous contraband into the Genesee County Jail at 14 West Main Street on December 18, 2023.
Scott was arraigned in CAP Court on December 19, 2023.

On 12/16/2023, Amanda J. Knauss, 30, of Batavia, NY (no address provided), was charged with Petit Larceny after she allegedly stole property from Walmart at 4133 Veteran’s Memorial Drive.
The stolen property was valued at $230.75.
Knauss was issued an appearance ticket and released. Knauss is to in Batavia Town Court on 1/09/2024 at
3:00pm.

On 12/19/2023, Breanna M. Rich, 21, of Batavia, NY (no address provided) was charged with Criminal Mischief 2nd degree, after she allegedly damaged a motor vehicle which belonged to another person.
The incident occurred on W. Main Street Road on 12/5/23 at 1:52p.m.
Rich was held at the Genesee County Jail pending a Cap Court arraignment.

Joseph D. Summers Jr., 36, of Myrtle Street, LeRoy, NY, is charged with Criminal Contempt 2nd degree after allegedly failing to appear for Genesee County Grand Jury on two occasions, after being served subpoenas.
Summers was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Batavia City Court on 1/9/24.

Donte J.A. Roberson, 42, homeless, is charged with Petit Larceny after allegedly stealing traffic cones from Main Street in Oakfield, NY on December 17, 2023.
Roberson was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Oakfield Town Court on February 1, 2024, at 6:00p.m.
