ORLEANS COUNTY/Orleans County Warming Center in Albion is available when temperatures are 32 degrees and below

Cutting the ribbon on County’s first and only Warming Center in Albion at 26 S. Main Street. The Orleans County Warming Center is open during the evening and overnight hours when the temperature is 32 degrees and lower. Call 585-895-4090 if you need a place during a “Code Blue.”

Interview with Karen Kinter/CEO of Oak Orchard Health. Oak Orchard Health is managing the new Warming Center at 26 S. Main Street in Albion at the Christ Episcopal Church. Also, an interview with Nyla Gaylord, Executive Director of the United Way of Orleans County, who also serves on the Board at Oak Orchard Health.

Financial support is being provided through the county and the state with assistance from the following community partners: United Way of Orleans County, Community Action, Hands for Home, The Medina Association of Churches, Independent Living of the Genesee Region and Orleans County Emergency Management.
