Genesee County BEA hosted a Job Fair for graduating Seniors on Friday at Genesee Valley BOCES at the Batavia Campus.
Students were prepared on how to engage with local company representatives about their job opportunities before arrival today. Students were provided with a guidebook and had information in advance about what companies would be on location and what kinds of jobs they are hiring for.
“We try and connect students who are graduating in June who are seeking more employment other than the college direction,” says Karyn Winters, Director, Genesee County BEA.
Schools from Genesee County along with Perry, York, Attica, Cal-Mum, and Dansville attended.
“It’s a good networking opportunity for students.”
