Scott D. Murray, 38, no address provided, is charged with assault 3rd degree and criminal obstruction of breathing, following a domestic incident in Darien on December 30, 2023 at 12:00a.m.
Murray allegedly struck a person in the face multiple times and allegedly applied pressure to the person’s neck multiple times.
Murray was held for CAP Court on January 2, 2024 at 9:00a.m.

Maxim J. Reynolds, of Lake Road, Hamlin, NY, is charged with DWI and false personation, after allegedly operating a vehicle while intoxicated by alcohol and then provided a false name after being arrested on January 14, 2024.
Reynolds was issued an appearance ticket and was scheduled to appear in Bergen Town Court on January 17, 2024, at 3:00p.m.

Malik I. Ayala, 32, homeless, is charged with petit larceny and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree, after allegedly stealing a pair of Nike sneakers from Dicks Sporting Goods at 4180 Veteran’s Memorial Drive on January 13, 2024, at 4:22p.m.
Ayala was also allegedly found to be in possession of crack and drug paraphernalia.
Ayala was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Batavia Court on January 23, 2024.

Johnny B. Koonce Jr., 33, of Federal Dr., Batavia, NY, is charged with criminal contempt 1st degree, aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd degree, and failure to stop at a stop sign, following a traffic stop on Main Street in Batavia on January 20, 2024, at 1:53a.m.
Koonce allegedly violated a stay away order of protection by operating a vehicle with the protected party being a passenger in the vehicle and having been convicted of criminal contempt in the past 5 years.
Koonce Jr. was held at the Genesee County jail pending a CAP Court arraignment on January 20, 2024.

Mark E. Green, 42, of Hermitage Road, Warsaw, NY, is charged with harassment 2nd degree, after allegedly striking another person while at an address in Briarwood Terrace in the Town of Batavia on January 14, 2024.

Joseph M. Andrews, 47, of Lockport, NY, is charged with DWI, driving with a BAC of .08% or more, moving from a lane unsafely, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle, speed not reasonable and prudent, and failure to keep right, after driving off the road on Lewiston Road in the Town of Oakfield on January 13. 2024.
Andrews was transported to the Genesee County Jail for fingerprinting and photographs and was released on an appearance ticket.
He was scheduled to appear in Oakfield Town Court on January 15, 2024, at 6:00p.m.

Shanaya N. Brooks, 22, of Gowanda, NY, is charged with criminal mischief 3rd degree, following an investigation on East Road in Batavia, NY on January 19, 2024.
Brooks allegedly took a snow shovel and struck the house, causing damage to the siding. Brooks also allegedly attempted to force herself into a residence and caused damage to the door.
Brooks was held at the Genesee County Jail for arraignment in CAP Court.

Samantha R. Balduf, 31, of Depew, NY, is charged with petit larceny, after allegedly swapping a price tag on an item of lesser value, and then paid the lesser price for an item she purchased. Balduf then attempted to leave the location.
The incident occurred on January 19, 2024, at a business on Veteran’s Memorial Drive.
Balduf was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in Batavia Town Court on February 6, 2024 at 1:00p.m.
