On February 8, 2024, at 4:05 P.M., Troopers out of SP Albion responded to McNamer Road in the town of Barre for a collision involving a dirt bike. Investigation determined that a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado, operated by Magee was traveling east bound on McNamer Road on the north shoulder which is the wrong lane of travel. The Chevrolet struck a Honda CRF450R Dirt Bike traveling west bound on the north shoulder head-on. Magee continued east bound on McNamer Road leaving the scene. Two uninvolved four-wheelers were traveling with the operator, Roger A. Kingdollar, 24 of Holley, NY of the dirt bike. Kingdollar was pronounced deceased at the scene and Magee returned to the scene without the Chevrolet and Troopers detained him. Troopers arrested Magee on the recommendation from the Orleans County District Attorney’s Office. Magee was processed at SP Albion.
Magee was then transported to the Orleans County Jail for centralized arraignment for February 9, 2024.
The NYSP Collision Reconstruction Unit, Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the Orleans County District Attorney’s Office assisted in this investigation.
This is still an ongoing investigation.
Why is the dirt bike and 4 wheelers riding down public roads? Are they registered and insured?
They were registered and the one on the dirt bike only lived down the road from where the accident happened. I knew the person who was pronounced deceased on scene. He also had a go cam on him recording it but as far as I know that has not been found.
And this matters how??! The driver deliberately drove on the wrong side of the road to hit and KILL THE VICTIM! Murdered!!
