Craft Cannery, a food manufacturing facility in Bergen, NY, celebrated a $1.5 million expansion with a groundbreaking ceremony with its company leaders, alongside area food manufacturing leaders and community leaders on Wednesday morning.
The groundbreaking ceremony marks the expansion of Craft Cannery at 7100 Appletree Avenue that will more than double the space of its facility and expand its food service packaging line and glass bottling line capabilities.
Craft Cannery currently employs 14 full time workers and one part time position. They started out with 3 employees several years ago.
This expansion will create more than 5 new full-time jobs this year.
The expansion will take about 6 months to complete.
