PERRY POLICE REPORT/Perry man admits to burlgary

PERRY, NY- Chief Michael J. Grover reports the arrest of Andrew Perdock, 37, of Perry, NY, following a burglary investigation.

On May 22nd, 2024, the Perry Police Department received a call for a possible burglary that occurred the night prior at the Travers Place Apartments. A resident noticed that several belongings were missing from their apartment.

A check of CCTV footage from the building showed Perdock entering the apartment on the overnight of May 21st and leaving a short time later. When confronted with the video evidence, Perdock confessed to the crime.

Perdock was arrested and charged with Burglary 3rd degree/illegal entry with intent to commit a crime, and petit larceny.

He was arraigned in front of a Warsaw Village Justice and released with a return court date of 06/11/2024 at 1:00p.m. in Perry Village Court.

On May 18th, 2024, at approximately 08:45p.m., Officer Fronckowiak responded to the report of a slashed tire at the Vets Club located on 64 Lake Street in the Village of Perry.

Officer Fronckowiak arrived on scene and spoke with the complainant. Officer Fronckowiak was shown the complainant’s front passenger side tire that had been slashed and observed the tire to be flat and was then shown video from surveillance cameras at the Vets club.

Officer Fronckowiak observed a male known by the complainant to be Philip J. Baker walk out of the Vet’s Club into the parking lot. Baker then allegedly approached the complainant’s vehicle and is seen looking inside of it. Baker is then seen allegedly bending over next to the complainants’ vehicle’s front passenger side tire and standing back up quickly. Baker then walks back into the Vets Club while the tire is deflating, and the vehicle is seen dropping lower to the ground. Through a brief investigation, it was determined that Philip J. Baker allegedly slashed the complainant’s tire.

Officer Fronckowiak and Officer Cross then made contact with Philip J. Baker at his residence where he was placed under arrest and charged with criminal mischief 4th degree. Baker was transported to the Perry Police Department to be processed for the above charge.

Baker was issued an appearance ticket and released on his own recognizance and will appear in the Perry Village Court on June 11th, 2024, at 01:00 p.m.
