Saturday was NYS Path Through History Day and several area groups came together at the Holland Land Office Museum to share military history from the Spanish American War, Civil War and as far back as the Revolutionary War to World War II. John Della Penna, who is a member of the Genesee County Militia, coordinated Saturday’s event.
“This is for people to come and look at what we have so we can explain the difference between a Civil War rifle, a Revolutionary War rifle, Spanish American War rifle and what was used in World War 1,” says Dell Penna.
