WYOMING COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/June 16, 2024

On May 23, 2024, at approximately 1:57 P.M., a Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office deputy stopped a
vehicle on Route 20A in the Town of Warsaw for Vehicle and Traffic Law violations.

After speaking with the operator of the vehicle, Scott Lefort, 48, of Warsaw, NY, the deputy recognized alleged signs of impairment from drugs.

Lefort was asked to perform Standardized Field Sobriety Testing which he performed poorly on. Lefort
was then transported to the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office for a Drug Recognition evaluation. The
Drug Recognition Expert alleged that Lefort was impaired by drugs and was unsafe to operate a motor
vehicle.
Lefort was arrested and charged with Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs, DWAI- Combination,
Aggravated Unlicensed Operation First Degree, and other Vehicle and Traffic Law infractions.

Lefort was released on appearance tickets and is to appear in Warsaw Town Court on June 3, 2024.

On May 23, 2024, at approximately 11:52 P.M., a Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office deputy stopped a
vehicle on Route 20A in the Town of Orangeville for suspended registration.

After a DMV check, it was found that the vehicle’s registration was suspended due to no insurance in effect. The driver of that vehicle, Kevin McFall, 53, of Corning, NY, had a suspended New York State driver’s license.
McFall was arrested and charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle with Suspended Registration
and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the Third Degree along with other traffic
infractions.

McFall was released on appearance tickets and is to appear in Orangeville Town Court on
June 12, 2024.

On May 31, 2024, at around 6:33A.M., a deputy with the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office was
operating stationary patrol on Route 20A, in the Town of Sheldon, when a vehicle with a
suspended registration was observed traveling westbound near Folsomdale Road.

A vehicle and traffic enforcement stop was conducted near the Erie County line and the driver of the vehicle was identified as Adam K. Hotchkiss, 36, of Perry, NY. Hotchkiss was arrested and
charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended Registration.
Following processing roadside, Hotchkiss was released with an appearance ticket returnable to
the Sheldon Town Court at a later date.

On June 2, 2024, at around 12:50A.M., a deputy from the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office and
Troopers from the New York State Police, responded to the area of East Perry Avenue and
Creamery Road in the Village of Silver Springs, for the reported motor vehicle accident called
in by On-Star.

Once on scene, the driver was identified as Cassie L. Hughes, 39, of Silver Springs, NY. Hughes was traveling westbound on East Perry Avenue when her vehicle crossed over
he eastbound lane and struck a mechanical lid and telephone pole before sliding across the top
of the guard rail on the south side of the roadway. Hughes’ vehicle came to rest with the rear of
the vehicle stuck on top of the guard rail and the frame on the front of the vehicle was resting on
the roadway, as there was extensive damage to the front of the vehicle.
Following an on-scene investigation, deputies alleged that Hughes was under the influence and
initiated a roadside DWI investigation, which included standardized field sobriety testing.

Following standardized field sobriety testing, Hughes was placed under arrest and transported to
the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office where she submitted to a Datamaster DMT breath test.
Hughes was ultimately charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Aggravated
DWI – .18%BAC or Greater and Moving from a Lane Unsafely.

Following processing, Hughes was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the
Gainesville Town Court at a later date.

Abdullah Khan, 50, of Schenectady NY, was arrested following a traffic stop in the Town of Perry.
During the course of the traffic stop it was determined that the vehicle owner and operator, Abdullah
Khan, was operating the vehicle with a forged inspection sticker and with a suspended NY Registration.
Khan was placed under arrest and issued an appearance ticket. Khan is scheduled to appear in Perry
Town Court 06/29/2024.

On June 9, 2024, at approximately 1:10 A.M. a Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office deputy was patrolling
Route 77 in the Town of Sheldon. The Deputy observed a vehicle fail to stop at a stop sign. After
speaking with the operator of the vehicle, Timothy Mattson, 35, of Jamestown, NY, the deputy
recognized alleged signs of impairment from alcohol. Mattson was asked to perform Standardized Field Sobriety Testing which he performed poorly on.

Mattson was then transported to the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office where he submitted to a breath test to determine his blood alcohol content. Mattson was found to be above the legal limit.
Mattson was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and DWI .08%
BAC or Higher along with Vehicle and traffic Law violations. Mattson was released on appearance tickets and is to appear in Sheldon Town Court on June 24, 2024.

A Warsaw man was arrested following the report of a domestic incident. Bradley P. Woods, age
29 of Warsaw, N.Y. is charged with Aggravated Family Offense, Assault in the Third Degree,
and Menacing in the Third Degree following an investigation.

Woods was arraigned in the Village of Warsaw Court before Judge Errington and was committed to jail on “no bail”.

Woods is scheduled to appear back in Warsaw Court at a later date.

Following a traffic stop for a red-light violation at the intersection of Liberty and Main Street in
the Village of Arcade, on June 7, 2024, Adian J. Blasdell, age 20, of Arcade NY, was arrested for DWI Drugs.
Blasdell was showing multiple signs of impairment roadside and was reported to performing
poorly on his field sobriety tests.

Blasdell was taken into custody and submitted to a drug influence evaluation conducted by a certified drug recognition expert who determined that Blasdell was allegedly under the influence of cannabis and was unable to operate a vehicle safely.

Blasdell was subsequently charged with DWI drugs, along with other traffic violations and given
an appearance ticket and is due back in the Village of Arcade Court on 06/20/2024.

On June 2, 2024, at around 12: 16A.M, a deputy with the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office was
patrolling eastbound on Route 20A, in the Town of Warsaw, when a vehicle with a
suspended registration was observed traveling westbound near Fisher Road.

A vehicle and traffic enforcement stop was conducted near Minor Road and the driver was identified as Jean O. Martinez, 42, of Leicester, NY. Martinez was arrested and charged with Operating a
Motor Vehicle with a Suspended Registration. Following processing, Martinez
was released with an appearance ticket returnable to the Warsaw Town Court at a later date
