GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/June 18, 2024

Laurie A. Pearse, 53, of Pembroke, NY, is charged with criminal possession of a firearm 2nd degree, grand larceny 4th degree and falsely reporting a crime 3rd degree, following an investigation on Gabbey Road in Pembroke on June 6, 2024.

Pearse allegedly stole a firearm from an address in the Town of Pembroke and then allegedly called 911 to report a false domestic incident to obtain a police response.

Pearse was transported to the Genesee County Jail for processing and held pending a CAP Court arraignment.

Christopher G. Mayorga, 48, of Pavilion, NY, is charged with three counts of criminal possession of a weapon 4th degree/felon w/rifle and shotgun, after allegedly being found to be in possession of two shotguns and a rifle on June 13, 2024, and was previously convicted of a felony offense.

Mayorga was also charged with harassment 2nd degree/physical contact, after having unwanted physical contact with the victim.

Mayorga was held at the Genesee County Jail pending arraignment.

Danny D. Williams, 35, of Batavia, NY, is charged with assault 3rd degree after a physical altercation at 14 West Main Street, the Genesee County Jail on June 11, 2024.

As a result of the altercation, another inmate was injured.

Williams was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the City of Batavia Court. Williams will appear in Batavia City Court on June 25th, 2024 at 1:00p.m.

Andres M. Cabrera, 29, of Mineola, NY, is charged with obstructing governmental administration 2nd degree, driving to the left of pavement markings, unsafe passing on the left, U-turn grade curve and illegal signal from parked position, after a pursuit on W. Main Street Road in Batavia on June 15, 2024.

Deputies attempted to stop Cabrera’s vehicle, but the Cabrera fled from deputies. At Rt. 5 and Boyce Road, the vehicle was finally stopped, however, when deputies attempted to get Cabrera out of the vehicle, he locked the door and refused to exit the vehicle.

Cabrera was arrested and taken to the Genesee County Jail and issued an appearance ticket. He will appear in Batavia Town Court on July 9, 2024 at 9:00a.m.

Marissa B. Torres, 33, of Batavia, NY, is charged with criminal mischief 3rd degree, endangering the welfare of a child and criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th degree after a domestic incident on Park Road in the Town of Batavia at 11:11a.m., on June 17, 2024.

Torres allegedly broke the windshield of the victim’s car while two children were inside.

After a search of Torres’ belongings, it is alleged she was in possession of drug paraphernalia and a controlled substance.

Torres was transported to the Genesee County Jail for processing and was arraigned in CAP Court at 7:00p.m.

Sarah E. Smith, 38, of Batavia, NY, is charged with DWI, aggravated DWI/operating a motor vehicle with a BAC of .18% or more, speeding in a 55mph zone, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration and open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, following a traffic stop on Rt. 33 in the Town of Byron on June 9, 2024, at 8:05p.m.

Smith was released with traffic tickets and will appear in Byron Town Court on July 15, 2024 at 4:30p.m.

Warren T. Cotten, 47, homeless, and Allyson Paige, no age provided, were each charged with petit larceny and conspiracy 6th degree after allegedly stealing a cart full of items from Walmart at 4133 Veteran’s Memorial Drive in the Town of Batavia on June 10, 2024 at 11:45a.m.

Deputies spotted the pair behind the Planet Fitness Plaza, and they were allegedly found with new unopened merchandise that appeared to be in a Walmart cart. As patrols pulled up to Cotten and Paige, they started walking away from the merchandise and both avoided the deputies and lawful orders to stop. Cotten and Paige were eventually detained.

Cotten and Paige were issued appearance tickets and are to appear in the Town of Batavia Court on July 20, 2024, at 1:00p.m.

Mark D. Heidenreich, 34, of Attica, NY, is charged with harassment 2nd degree following an investigation of an incident in the City of Batavia on June 9, 2024.

Heidenreich allegedly threatened to beat someone up.

He was released on an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on June 18, 2024, at 1:30p.m.

Allyson P. Lawrence, 29, homeless, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree following an investigation on Veteran’s Memorial Drive on June 3, 2024.

Lawrence allegedly possessed methamphetamine, a controlled substance, that was located in her purse during a custody search.

She was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Batavia Court on June 20, 2024, at 1:00p.m.

Jordan R. Rose, 23, of Oakfield, NY, is charged with criminal contempt 1st degree, following an investigation into an alleged violation of an order of protection that occurred on April 21, 2024.

Rose was arraigned in CAP Court and released under supervision. Rose will appear in the Town of Stafford Court on July 2, 2024.
