GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/July 1, 2024

Alec R. Posa-Whittington, 24, of Batavia, NY, is charged with criminal mischief 4th degree/preventing another person from calling emergency services, unlawful imprisonment 2nd degree, and harassment 2nd degree/physical contact, after a domestic incident in the Town of Batavia on June 29, 2024 at 4:12a.m.

Posa-Whittington allegedly prevented a female victim from leaving a residence and then prevented them from calling 911 for help. Posa-Whittington also allegedly subjected the victim to unwanted physical contact by punching, kneeing and spitting on the victim.

Posa-Whittington was taken into custody and arrested and transported to the Genesee County Jail and held for arraignment in CAP Court.

Martin J. Dolivo, 66, of Rochester, NY, is charged with DWI, driving with a BAC of .08% or more, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle on a highway and moving from a lane unsafely, after a motor vehicle accident on Vallance Road in Le Roy on June 29, 2024, at 7:31p.m.

According to deputies, Dolivo was operating a vehicle in an intoxicated condition. He was released on appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in Le Roy Town Court on July 18, 2024, at 4:30p.m.

Adam T. Shipwash, 44, a resident of the Genesee County Jail, 14 West Main Street, is charged with possessing dangerous contraband in prison 1st degree, possessing contraband while in prison 2nd degree, attempted criminal contempt 2nd degree and criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th degree, after an incident that occurred at the Jail on June 26, 2024 at 9:20a.m.

Shipwash was allegedly in possession of a controlled substance while in the Genesee County Jail and attempted to contact a protected party.

Shipwash was scheduled to appear in CAP Court on June 27, 2024 at 9:00a.m. in front of Judge Mattice.

Lisa A. Strong, 41, of Lecanto, Florida, is charged with trespassing on private property after being told she was not allowed on the property at 4036 W. Main Street Road in the Town of Batavia on June 28, 2024.

Strong was issued an appearance ticket and is to appear in Batavia Town Court on July 9, 2024 at 3:00p.m.
