BATAVIA POLICE BLOTTER/Bank Street man charged after allegedly threatening a person with a hammer during an argument

On 6/13/2024, Peter J. Cino, 56, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Menacing 2nd degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th degree, and Harassment 2nd degree.

It’s alleged that Cino struck another person during an argument on Bank Street and threatened them with a hammer. He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and an order of protection was issued.

On June 15th, police received information that Cino had failed to surrender a firearm, as was required in the order of protection. Officers obtained consent to search his home and located a rifle in Cino’s bedroom. He was then charged with Criminal Contempt 2nd degree and two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd degree. He was arraigned in CAP Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail.

Danielle Michael, Norman Michael and Marcus Mobley were arrested after a drug sales investigation that took place on 5/28/2024. (Ages and addresses not provided)

It’s alleged that Norman Michael contacted his wife, Danielle Michael, and arranged for her to sell a large quantity of narcotics to Marcus Mobley. After the sale was made, City of Batavia NET Officers conducted a vehicle stop, on Mobley’s vehicle, which led to a narcotics seizure.

Michael Norman is charged with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 2nd degree (an A2 felony), two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree and Conspiracy 2nd degree.

Danielle Michael is charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree, Conspiracy 2nd degree, and Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd degree.

Mobley is charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree.

On 6/8/2024, Angelina J, Baumgart, 33, of Batavia, NY, was arrested after a traffic stop on Oak Street.

Baumgart was initially stopped for operating a vehicle with a stolen license plate. After an investigation, it was found that the vehicle itself was also allegedly stolen. Baumgart then lied about her name and was found to allegedly be in possession of crack cocaine.

She is charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 5th degree, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4th degree, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 3rd degree, Criminal Impersonation 2nd degree, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 2nd degree, and traffic infractions.

Baumgart was arraigned in CAP Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail.

On 6/20/2024, Jamie A. Dutton, 31, and Sandra L. Marsceill, 53, both of Batavia, NY, were arrested and charged with Petit Larceny. It’s alleged that Dutton and Marsceill each stole a hammock chair from Aldi. They were issued appearance tickets and released and will appear in court, on 7/9/2024.

On 6/18/2024, Jessica D. Delcour, 41, of Wyoming, NY, was arrested on a bench warrant. Delcour was initially arrested on 2/16/2024 for Criminal Trespass 2nd degree. The warrant was issued, after she failed to appear in court. She was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released. She is due back in court at a later date.

On 6/14/2024, Isaiah J. A. Munroe, 34, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Criminal Tampering 3rd degree. It’s alleged that Munroe caused a disturbance at the Advance Auto Parts store and shoved the cashier’s computer, keyboard and receipt printer off the counter. He was issued an appearance ticket and is due in Batavia City Court on 6/25/2024.

On 6/13/2024, Adrienne S. Bechtold, 28, of Batavia, NY, was arrested on three warrants. The warrants were issued after Bechtold allegedly failed to appear in court in three separate criminal cases. She was arraigned in Batavia City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail on $2,500 bail, $5,000 bond and $10,000 partially secured bond. Bechtold is due back in court on 7/11/2024.

On 6/22/2024, Kenneth B. Jordan, 31, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Strangulation 2nd degree, Attempted Assault 3rd degree, Unlawful Imprisonment 2nd degree, and two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

Jordan was arrested after police responded to a disturbance call on Liberty Street. It’s alleged that Jordan strangled the victim and refused to allow her to leave the residence. Two children were present inside the house during the incident. Jordan was arraigned in CAP Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail.

On 6/24/2024, Jeanna M. Hattaway was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd degree and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree.

The charges stem from a traffic stop on 1/30/2024 where Hattaway was allegedly found to allegedly be in possession of a small club wrapped in razor wire as well as methamphetamine and cocaine. She was also processed on bench warrants from two separate cases.

Hattaway was arraigned in CAP Court and is due in Batavia City Court at a later date.

On 6/21/2024, Michael J. Miller, 46, of Batavia, NY, was arrested on an Arrest Warrant for a Sex Offender Registry Violation.

It’s alleged that Miller had moved and failed to register his address.

He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail without bail. He is due back in court on 7/1/2024.

On 6/26/2024, Katty L. Jackson, 28, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Criminal Mischief 4th degree. It’s alleged that Jackson damaged an iPad during an argument at a residence on Pearl Street.

She was issued an appearance ticket and is due in Batavia City Court on 7/16/2024.

On 6/24/2024, Benjamin G. Evans, 35, of Batavia, NY, was arrested on two Bench Warrants. Both warrants stem from incidents where Evans was charged with Obstructing Governmental Administration 2nd degree.

Evans was arraigned in CAP Court and released. He is due in Batavia City Court, at a later date.

On 6/21/2024, Michael C. Smith, 32, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Petit Larceny.

Smith allegedly stole merchandise from Aldi. He was issued an appearance ticket and released.

Smith is due in Batavia City Court on 7/2/2024.
