On 7/1/2024, Darien L. Rhodes, 31, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Robbery 3rd degree, Criminal Contempt 1st degree, Criminal Mischief 4th degree, and Harassment 2nd degree.
It’s alleged that Rhodes violated an order of protection and forcibly stole a set of keys from another person, and damaged property during a physical altercation on Oak Street. He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail.

On 6/28/2024, Carl E. Canterbury, 53, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th degree.
The charges stem from a traffic stop in March, when Canterbury was allegedly found in possession of cocaine. Canterbury was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released on his own recognizance. He is due back in court on 7/30/2024.

On 6/23/2024, Kenneth B. Jordan, 31, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Criminal Mischief 3rd degree and Criminal Contempt 2nd degree.
Jordan allegedly went to the home of a person who has an order of protection against him and allegedly slashed the tires on a vehicle in the driveway. Jordan was arraigned in CAP Court and is due in Batavia City Court, at a later date.

On 7/3/2024, Shane P. Herzog, 38, of Batavia, NY, was arrested on a bench warrant. Herzog was previously arrested for Bail Jumping 3rd degree, but allegedly failed to meet the conditions of a plea agreement. He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released on his own recognizance. He is due back in court at a later date.

On 7/3/2024, Reicha B. Morris, 40, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Petit Larceny and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree. Morris allegedly stole property from Tops. While being taken into custody, she was allegedly found in possession of methamphetamine. Morris was issued an appearance ticket and is due in Batavia City Court on 7/16/2024.

On 6/29/2024, Leon C. Bloom, 42, of Penfield, NY, was arrested and charged with DWI. Bloom was arrested following a traffic accident on West Main Street. He was issued several traffic tickets and is due in Batavia City Court on 7/17/2024.

On 6/30/2024, Joshua L. Clair, 42, of Attica, NY, was arrested and charged with DWI. Clair was arrested following a traffic stop on East Main Street. He was issued several traffic tickets and is due in Batavia City Court on 7/10/2024.

On 6/28/2024, Tyler J. Burns, 20, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with DWI. Burns was arrested after police responded to McDonald’s on East Main Street where Burns was allegedly doing burnouts in the drive-thru line. It was determined that Burns was operating the vehicle while intoxicated. He was issued several traffic tickets and is due in Batavia City Court on 7/17/2024.

On 6/29/2024, Adam J. Arsenault, 38, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Harassment 2nd degree. It’s alleged that Arsenault threatened his neighbor during an altercation on Hutchins Street.
He was arraigned in CAP Court and is due in Batavia City Court at a later date.
