GENESEE COUNTY/Batavia/Dansville man fled from deputies during a traffic stop, leading police on a high-speed pursuit that ended in a crash

A Dansville man was arrested on several weapons charges and resisting arrest after fleeing the scene of a traffic stop in a vehicle in West Main Street and leading police on a high-speed pursuit through the City of Batavia at speeds in excess of 93 miles per hour. The incident occurred at 1:42a.m.

The pursuit ended with the vehicle crashing and rolling over at the corner of Swan and School Streets. The driver continued to flee on foot after the crash but was taken into custody. A search of the vehicle uncovered a defaced Glock Model 19 chambered 9mm.

The driver, Dandre J. Cramer, 26, of Dansville, NY, is charged with criminal possession of a weapon 2nd degree/loaded firearm-other than in a person’s home/business, criminal possession of a weapon 3rd degree/previous conviction, criminal possession of a weapon 3rd degree/defaced for concealment, criminal possession of a weapon firearm/knife, resisting arrest, unlawful fleeing a police officer, obstructing governmental administration 2nd degree and two counts of criminal contempt 2nd degree.

Cramer was arraigned in CAP Court on July 14, 2024 at 9:00a.m.
