Eric J. Flowers, 36 of Batavia, NY, is charged with DWAI/Drugs-2nd offense in 10 years, a felony, vehicular assault 2nd degree/causing a physical injury accident while allegedly impaired by drugs, criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th degree, failure to yield the right of way at a stop sign and failure to stop at a stop sign, after a three vehicle accident on Rt. 5 and North Ag Park Drive in the Town of Batavia on June 27, 2024 at 8:29a.m.
Deputies say Flowers caused physical injury to another motorist while allegedly driving impaired. He was released and will appear in the Town of Batavia Court on July 23, 2024 at 3:00p.m.

Donald D. Ryan, 40, of Batavia, NY, is charged with assault 2nd degree/intent to cause serious physical injury, robbery 3rd degree, criminal mischief 4th degree, criminal obstruction of breathing and blood circulation/apply pressure, and two counts of criminal obstruction of breathing after a criminal investigation into a domestic incident in the Town of Batavia on July 4, 2024 at 12:00p.m.
Ryan was later arraigned in the Genesee County CAP Court on July 8, 2024, and remanded to the custody of the Sheriff in lieu of bail.

Jesse E. Szczech, 44, of Rochester, NY was arrested on 184 counts of criminal contempt 1st degree and transported to the jail for processing on July 18, 2024. Szczech was arraigned in the Town of Le Roy Court on July 18, 2024 at 1:30p.m.

Maxwell W. Matricardi, 28, of East Amherst, NY, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th degree after a larceny investigation on Veteran’s Memorial Drive on July 17, 2024 at 5:30p.m.
Matricardi was allegedly in possession of methamphetamine, crack cocaine and Xanax following the investigation at COR Plaza. He was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in Batavia Town Court on August 13, 2024 at 3:00p.m.

Anthony T. Wenhold, 36, and Laura M. Barber, 36, both of Batavia, NY, are each charged with petit larceny and conspiracy 6th degree, both misdemeanors, after a larceny at Walmart in the Town of Batavia on July 17, 2024.
Wenhold and Barber were at the self-checkout and did not scan multiple items and attempted to leave the store with merchandise valued at $173.11.
Both Wenhold and Barber were released on appearance tickets and are due in the Town of Batavia Court on July 23, 2024 at 3:00p.m.
Assisting in the investigation was Deputy Morgan Ewert and Deputy Hoy.

Zachary S. Natale, 30, of Medina, NY, is charged after violating a court issued order of protection after allegedly sending text messages to the protected party. Natale was transported to the Genesee County Jail for processing. He was arraigned in CAP Court on July 20, 2024 at 9:00p.m.
