Kayla M. Byrd, 31, of Batavia, NY, is charged with welfare fraud 3rd degree and offering a false instrument for filing in the 1st degree after allegedly receiving money from in SNAP benefits that she was not entitled to on December 12, 2023.
Byrd appeared in CAP Court on July 28, 2024 at 7:00p.m. in front of Judge Mattice for arraignment.

Randal R. Spangenberg, 49, of Port Hueneme, CA,(operator of the vehicle) and Amanda A. Maben, 46, of Oxnard, CA,(passenger in the vehicle) are each charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 4th degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th degree and criminal use of drug paraphernalia 2nd degree, after narcotics were found in their vehicle at 8484 Alleghany Road in Pembroke, NY on July 23, 2024 at 6:14p.m.
Both Spangenberg and Maben were held and arraigned in Genesee County CAP Court on July 24, 2024 at 8:00a.m.

Abigail S. Ransom-Taylor, 32, of Liverpool, NY, is charged with DWI/previous conviction within 10 years and driving with a BAC of .08% or more/prior conviction within 10 years after operating a motor vehicle in the Village of Corfu while allegedly intoxicated by alcohol on July 10, 2024.
Ransom-Taylor was held for a CAP Court appearance on July 11, 2024 at 10:00a.m. and then released under supervision.

Lisa J. Boyer, 48, of Batavia, NY, is charged with DWI, driving with a BAC of .08% or more and failure to obey a traffic device ahead, after a motor vehicle accident on Rt. 98 on July 26, 2024 at 10:11p.m.
Boyer will appear in the Town of Batavia Court on August 15, 2024 at 1:00p.m. for arraignment.

Charles W. Mobus, 38, of Elma, NY, is charged with harassment 2nd degree/physical contact, after a reported disturbance in the Town of Batavia at 8315 Park Road on July 26, 2024 at 10:41p.m.
Mobus was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in the Town of Batavia Court on August 20, 2024 at 1:00p.m.

Aavion J. Bethel, 19, of Batavia, NY, is charged with petit larceny following an investigation at 4133 Veteran’s Memorial Drive, Walmart, on July 19, 2024.
Bethel allegedly stole $100 out of a cash register while working at Walmart in the Town of Batavia.
Bethel was released on an appearance ticket and will appear in the Town of Batavia Court on August 13, 2024 at 3:00p.m..
