James C. Francis Jr., 45, of N. Tonawanda, NY, is charged with menacing a police officer or peace officer, criminal possession of a weapon 3rd degree/previous conviction, menacing 1st degree and criminal mischief 4th degree, after an incident on Buffalo Street in Bergen on August 12, 2024 at 2:32a.m.
Francis allegedly threatened people with a knife, deputies were able to remove the knife from his possession and Francis was taken into custody.
Francis was held pending a CAP Court arraignment on 9:00p.m. on August 12, 2024.

Chad J. Evans, 34, of Rochester, NY, is charged with felony DWI/two previous convictions within 10 years, driving with a BAC of .08% or more/two prior convictions within 10 years, aggravated unlicensed operation 1st and 2nd degree/alcohol or drug, aggravated unlicensed operation 2nd degree and aggravated unlicensed operation 2nd degree/3 or more open suspensions on 3 or more dates, after a traffic stop for traffic violations on East Main Street in Batavia on August 17, 2024 at 2:05a.m.
Evans was allegedly intoxicated by alcohol and was previously convicted of DWI twice in the past 10 years.
He was arrested and transported to the jail for processing and held for a CAP Court arraignment at 9:00a.m.

Brandi N. Arbia, 39, of Batavia, NY, is charged with grand larceny 4th degree, and offering a false instrument for filing 1st degree, both class E felonies, after an investigation on August 15, 2024.
Arbia allegedly stole $2,372 in SNAP benefits.
Arbia was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in the Town of Batavia Court on September 10, 2024 at 3:00p.m.

Raequan A. Reed Sr., 28, and Ahmire D. Morgan, 19, both of Buffalo, NY, are each charged with grand larceny 4th degree, a class E felony, after allegedly stealing merchandise from a retail store on Veteran’s Memorial Drive, passing all points of purchase.
Reed and Morgan were issued appearance tickets and will appear in the Town of Batavia Court on August 28, 2024 at 3:00p.m.

Noah S. Smith, 19, of North Tonawanda, NY, is charged with criminal mischief 3rd degree after intentionally damaging a cell phone at the Chris Stapleton Concert a Darien Lake on July 12, 2024 at 10:45p.m.
Smith was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in the Town of Darien Court on August 27, 2024 at 4:00p.m.
