WYOMING COUNTY/Perry Police arrest New Jersey resident involved in two separate sex offense cases

PERRY, NY- Chief Michael J. Grover reports the arrest of a New Jersey resident following two sex offense cases Investigated by Officer Zachary Fleiss of the Perry Police Department.

On August 15, 2024, two members of the Perry Police Department, Sergeant Blake Russell and Officer David Spink, arrested Tristin T. Clevenger, 19, at the Salem County Correctional Facility in New Jersey, where he was being held on a warrant for sexual assault.

Clevenger is under investigation by the Perry Police Department for two separate sex offense cases that occurred in April and May of 2024, but Clevenger had left the area for New Jersey.

Clevenger is charged with sexual misconduct with a minor and forcible touching after allegedly touching the intimate parts of another person without their consent.

Clevenger was arraigned in front of Honorable Judge Kelsey at the Perry Village Courthouse and bail was set at $50,000 cash, $100,000 bond, and $200,000 partially secured. He was transported to the Wyoming County Jail with a return court date of September 10th at 1:00PM.
