While located inside the Wyoming County Jail, two Correctional Officers were attacked by an
inmate. Inmate Leone Roach, 23, of Warsaw, attempted to punch Correctional Officers while located in a cell block and in performance of their duties.
Correctional Officers were not injured and were able to take Roach into custody without further incident.
Roach was charged with two counts of attempted assault second degree, a class E felony.
Roach will appear in Warsaw Village Court on September 9, 2024 to answer the
charges.

On 9/4/2024, Donald Ryan, 40, of Corfu, NY, was arrested on a Superior Court Warrant out of Wyoming County Court.
Ryan was indicted by the Wyoming County Grand Jury for Conspiracy in the Fourth Degree, a class E felony. Ryan is accused of conspiracy with another person to sell crack cocaine in Wyoming County.
Ryan was arraigned in Wyoming County Court and released.

On 9/2/2024, Danielle Balbick, 43, of Warsaw, NY, was arrested on a Superior Court Warrant for Wyoming County Court. Balbick was indicted by the Wyoming County Grand Jury for two counts Criminal
Possession of a Controlled Substance in the third degree, a class B felony, and two counts of
Criminal Sale of Controlled Substance in the third degree, class B felony.
Balbick is accused of possessing and selling amphetamine in Wyoming County, while having a previous conviction for criminal sale of a controlled substance. Balbick was held at the Wyoming County Jail to
await arraignment in Wyoming County Court.

The Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office arrested Daniel J. Sara, 24, following a traffic stop in
the Town of Orangeville on 8/25/24 for operating a vehicle with a suspended registration.
Deputies on patrol were alerted to a vehicle being operated while the registration was currently
suspended for insurance not in effect. The vehicle was observed traveling east on Rt.
20A in the Town of Sheldon and a traffic stop was conducted in the Town of Orangeville after an
investigation found the vehicle was indeed currently suspended.
Sara was arrested and issued a citation for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended
registration. Sara is to answer the charges on September 11, 2024 at 6:30pm in the Town of
Orangeville Court.

On September 5, 2024, at around 5:28am, a deputy with the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office
was operating stationary patrol on Rt. 20A in the Town of Perry, when a vehicle was
observed traveling eastbound while the vehicle’s registration was suspended for an insurance
lapse.
A vehicle and traffic enforcement stop was conducted near Simmons Road and the
driver was identified as Roland M. Pigeon, 37, of Orchard Park, NY.
Pigeon was arrested and charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended
Registration. He was processed roadside and released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Perry Town Court at a later date.

On August 31, 2024, at around 5:56am, a deputy with the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office
was patrolling eastbound on Rt. 20A in the Town of Sheldon, when a vehicle was
observed traveling westbound. A registration check showed the vehicle’s registration was
suspended for an insurance lapse and a vehicle and traffic enforcement stop was conducted near
Old State Road.
The driver was identified as Wilian E. Fuentes Rodriguez, 42, of Roosevelt, NY. He was subsequently arrested and charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended Registration.
