Holly L. Fearby, 34, of Batavia, NY, is charged with welfare fraud 3rd degree and offering a false instrument for filing 1st degree, after being arrested on September 2, 2024.
Fearby allegedly failed to list generated sales income in the amount of $3505.00 US Currency in SNAP Benefits on February 8, 2023.
Fearby was transported to the Genesee County Jail for arraignment and appeared in Genesee County CAP Court later that evening.

Gustavo S. Diaz-Carvajal, 29, of Federal Drive, Batavia, NY, is charged with assault 2nd degree/with intent to cause serious physical injury, after a physical altercation that occurred on June 23, 2024 at 7:35p.m. at the Buffalo Federal Detention Facility.
Carvajal allegedly caused injury to another person with intent. Carvajal appeared in CAP Court on September 4, 2024 at 9:00p.m.

Charles W. Piehl, 56, of Cohocton, NY, and Christina M. Semmel, 21, of Rochester, NY, are each charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th degree, after a traffic stop on Clinton Street Road in Bergen on August 3, 2024 at 3:04a.m.
It’s alleged that both Piehl and Semmel had in their possession drug paraphernalia that contained narcotics residue. Piehl is additionally charged with operating a vehicle with registration suspended and operating a vehicle without insurance.
Both will appear in Bergen Towns Court on September 18, 2024 at 5:00p.m.

Jacob D. Pieri, 18, of Eden, NY, is charged with DWI, after operating a motor vehicle on Alleghany Road in Darien while allegedly intoxicated on September 7, 2024. Pieri is additionally charged with operating a vehicle with a BAC of .08% or more.
Pieri was issued an appearance ticket to appear in the town of Darien Court on September 24, 2024 at 4:00p.m.

Louis S. Szabo, 24, and Brandon M. Weig, 36, both of Batavia, NY, are each charged with petit larceny and conspiracy 6th degree after allegedly stealing merchandise from Walmart, 4133 Veteran’s Memorial Drive, on September 3, 2024 at 5:59p.m.
Szabo and Weig were transported to the Genesee County Jail for processing and were released on appearance tickets. They will appear in Batavia Town Court on September 23, 2024 at 1:00p.m.

Susan M. Lynch, 69, of Oakfield, NY, is charged with petit larceny after allegedly skip scanning multiple items in the store at Walmart, 4133 Veteran’s Memorial Drive, on September 6, 2024 at 4:49p.m.
Lynch allegedly passed all points of sale before being stopped by Walmart Loss Prevention.
Lynch was transported to the Genesee County Jail for processing and released on an appearance ticket. She will appear in Batavia Town Court on October 8, 2024 at 9:00a.m.
