The Orleans County Sheriff’s Office is on the scene of a motor vehicle accident involving a tractor trailer on Rt. 98 in the town of Barre, near the Genesee County line.
The tractor trailer was loaded with cabbage and traveling southbound on Rt. 98.
According to Sheriff Christopher Bourke, the drive reported the load shifted and the trailer swayed off the roadway, striking a guardrail. The impact made the trailer’s axel become detached from the trailer.

The driver was transported to the hospital with a head injury. His injuries are not life threatening according to Sheriff Bourke
