On 9/3/2024, Michael J. Stack, 47, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Attempted Robbery 3rd degree, Attempted Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd degree, Resisting Arrest, Obstruction of Governmental Administration 2nd degree, Menacing 2nd degree, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and Harassment 2nd degree.
It’s alleged that Stack struck another person and threatened them with a box cutter. When Police attempted to arrest him, he allegedly fought with officers and attempted to take an officer’s gun from their holster.
Stack was arraigned in Batavia City Court and held without bail.
On 9/6/2024, Nicholas C. Kingdollar, 28, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Burglary 2nd degree, Criminal Contempt 2nd degree, and Aggravated Family Offense. Kingdollar was allegedly found inside a residence in violation of a stay-away order of protection.
He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail on $5,000 cash bail, $10,000 bond, and $20,000 partially secured bond.

On 9/22/2024, Thomas J. Preedom, 36, of Clarence, NY, was arrested and charged with Failure to Register. It’s alleged that Preedom, who is a sex offender, failed to report a change of address within 10 days.
He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released under the supervision of Genesee Justice.

On 9/12/2024, Raymond L. Keffer Jr., 47, of Brockport, NY, was arrested and charged with Failure to Register. Keffer, who is a sex offender, allegedly failed to report a change of address within 10 days.
He was issued an appearance ticket and is due in Batavia City Court on 9/24/2024.

On 9/11/2024, Mark W. McWethy, 56, of Batavia, NY, was arrested on a Bench Warrant. McWethy was initially charged on 8/6/2024 with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th degree and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree. The warrant was issued after he failed to appear in court.
He was arraigned in CAP Court and is due in Batavia City Court at a later date.

On 9/6/2024, Anthony R. Dunmore, 44, of Rochester, NY, was arrested and charged with Criminal Obstruction of Breathing.
It’s alleged that on 9/7/2023, Dunmore placed his hands around another person’s neck during an altercation on State Street. Dunmore fled the scene, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Dunmore was located and arrested on 9/6/2024 and arraigned in CAP Court. He is due in Batavia City Court, at a later date.
