The Arcade and Attica Railroad is pleased to announce the return of the historic 1920, 2-8-0 American Locomotive, Arcade & Attica Railroad’s Steam Engine no. 18 will be back on the rails September 28, 2024, after nearly a seven-year restoration project.
There will be a 9:30 AM celebration on Saturday, September 28 at the Arcade Depot, 278 Main St, Arcade, NY 14009 with special guests and opening remarks. The first of #18 passenger steam trains will depart on September 28th, at 11am, and 2pm. You will need to purchase tickets ahead of time for this day.
Anyone with a souvenir ticket will need to call the A&A Railroad to reserve seats.
The Arcade and Attica Railroad is the only steam engine train in New York State that operates on a regular schedule beginning September 28th—Oct 27th,2024.
