BATAVIA POLICE BLOTTER/October 15, 2024

On 10/4/2024, Lazavia M. Price, 25, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Unlawful Imprisonment 1st degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd degree, Strangulation 2nd degree, Menacing 2nd degree, and Assault 3rd degree. Price is alleged to have engaged in a physical fight with another person, during which he allegedly strangled the victim and threatened them with a knife. Price was arraigned in Batavia City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail.

On 10/7/2024, Phillip P. Heale, 46, of Batavia, NY, and Jessica D. Delcour, 41, of Batavia were both arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree and two counts of Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd degree. Heale and Delcour were arrested, after a probation home search, where they were allegedly found in possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia. They were each issued an appearance ticket and are due in Batavia City Court on 10/15/2024.

On 10/8/2024, Dean D. Root, 43, of LeRoy, was arrested on an arrest warrant. The warrant was issued after Root failed to appear in court on a misdemeanor traffic ticket. He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released on his own recognizance. He is due back in court on 10/31/2024.

On 9/30/2024, Hillary D. Russell, 31, of Batavia, was arrested and charged with Petit Larceny. Russell allegedly stole merchandise from Save-A-Lot. She was issued an appearance ticket and is due in court on 10/15/2024.

On 10/4/2024, Trace G. Brewer, 24, of Batavia, was arrested and charged with Obstructing Governmental Administration 2nd degree and Resisting Arrest. Members of the Batavia Police NET Unit spotted Brewer on Watson Street and attempted to arrest him on an outstanding warrant. Brewer allegedly ran from officers but was eventually taken into custody. He was arraigned in CAP Court and is due in Batavia City Court at a later date.

On 10/1/2024, Terrance H. Riley, 36, of Batavia, was arrested and charged with Harassment 2nd degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. It’s alleged that Riley engaged in a physical altercation with another person, while three children were present. He was issued an appearance ticket and is due in Batavia City Court on 10/8/2024.

On 9/29/2024, Alicia M. Lyons, 44, of Batavia, was arrested and charged with Trespass. Lyons allegedly entered the property of Kwik Fill on Jackson Street after previously being trespassed. She was issued an appearance ticket and is due in court on 10/15/2024.

On 10/4/2024, Trevor N. Christman, 34, of Batavia, was arrested on a warrant. Christman allegedly failed to appear in court after being issued an appearance ticket for a misdemeanor crime. He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released.

On 10/3/2024, Morgan A. Schoonmaker, 28, of Perry, was arrested on a warrant. The warrant was issued when she failed to appear in court after being issued a misdemeanor traffic ticket. She was arraigned in Batavia City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail. She is due back in court on 10/29/2024.

On 9/28/2024, Booker T. Ricks, 53, of Batavia, was arrested and charged with Assault 3rd degree. Ricks was charged after he allegedly punched another person several times, causing injury. He was issued an appearance ticket and is due in Batavia City Court on 10/8/2024.
