WYOMING COUNTY/Chamber & Tourism Office announces annual award winners

(Warsaw, NY) The Wyoming County Chamber & Tourism office is pleased to announce the 2024 award winners for Small, Large, Agri-Business, Tourism Attraction, Tourism Business, Most Promising New Businesses of the Year, and Woman in Business award. The Chamber again invited the public to nominate businesses, and the Board of Directors voted on the finalists based on several great nominations in each category. This year’s award reception is presented by NYSEG/RG&E.

This year’s awardees are:

Small Business of the Year – Beer Justice Brewing Co in Arcade

Large Business of the Year – Burly Brothers Country Butchery in Attica

Agri-Business of the Year – Wolcott Farms 4 Seasons of Fun in Warsaw

Tourism Attraction of the Year – Silverlaken Estate, Glampground, & Tiny House Village
in Silver Springs

Tourism Business of the Year – The Club at Silver Lake in Perry/Castile

Most Promising New Business of the Year – Parkside Diner in Genesee Falls/Castile

Woman in Business Award – Jennifer Lingenfelter from Logel Appliance in Strykersville

“Thank you to everyone who submitted nominations from every corner of the county, and congratulations to the winners for their invaluable contributions to the quality of life and economic vitality of Wyoming County,” said Scott Gardner, President and CEO of the Wyoming County Chamber & Tourism office. “These awardees represent a diverse range of services and industries, showcasing some of the very best that Wyoming County has to offer. As an organization, we are proud to recognize their continued growth and success.”

Selecting these outstanding awardees was a thoughtful process,” said Norb Fuest, Chairman of the Wyoming County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. “Each of these businesses and organizations contributes to the economy in countless ways, helping to create a better community for all residents and visitors to our area.”

Awardees were nominated and selected based on criteria that include their contributions to the economic vitality and quality of life of Wyoming County; capital investments; business expansions; job growth and retention; community involvement; and their contributions that strengthen their particular business sector in Wyoming County.

The Wyoming County Chamber of Commerce will host the annual awards reception at Byrncliff Golf Resort and Banquets, 2357 Humphrey Road, Varysburg, NY Wyoming, NY 14167, on Thursday, November 7, beginning at 5:00.
