Following a report of a domestic incident on Genesee Road in the Town of Arcade, Martin
W. Twoguns, 40, of Arcade NY, was arrested and charged with four counts of Endangering
the Welfare of a Child, along with one count of Harassment in the 2nd degree.
It was reported that Twoguns engaged in a physical domestic incident inside the residence, where
he allegedly shoved a person onto a bed while in the presence of four children.
Twoguns was processed and issued an appearance ticket and will appear in the Town of Arcade Court on
10/10/2024 at 3:00 pm.

On 10/10/2024, Erin Kacmierczak, 40, of Attica, NY, was arrested and charged with Welfare Fraud in the Fourth Degree (Class E Felony) and Offering a False Instrument for Filing in the First Degree (Class E
Felony).
An investigation was conducted, and it was found that Kacmierczak allegedly obtained more
than $1,000 in benefits that she was not entitled to receive from March 1, 2024, to May 31, 2024.
The investigation determined that Kacmierczak allegedly provided false information to obtain these
benefits.
She was arraigned in Warsaw Village Court and released upon her own recognizance in
accordance with NYS Bail Reform Laws.

Deputies responded to the area of Route 98 in the Town of Attica, for a report of a vehicle
in the ditch. It was also reported that the operator was trying to get out of the vehicle.
Upon arrival, deputies located the operator and identified him as Steven J. Leach, 72, of Attica, NY.
Leach was allegedly showing signs of impairment roadside and after further investigation he was asked to
submit to field sobriety testing. Leach performed poorly on his field tests and was subsequently
arrested for DWI.
While at the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office Leach agreed to submit to a breath test to determine the alcohol content of his blood. As a result, Leach was found to have a.16% BAC.
Leach was charged with DWI with BAC .08% or higher, DWI, and open container of an alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle and moved from lane unsafely.
Leach was issued an appearance ticket on all his charges and is due back in the Town of Attica Court on 10/21/24.

On October 9, 2024, at approximately 7:42 P.M., Wyoming County Sheriff’s deputies responded
to Route 20A in the Town of Sheldon for a vehicle off the road. After speaking with the
operator of the vehicle, Duwayne Cooper, 34, of Mount Morris, deputies recognized signs of alleged
impairment from alcohol. Cooper submitted to field sobriety testing, which he performed poorly
on.
Cooper was transported to Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office, where he refused to submit to
a chemical test. Cooper was also found to have a revoked driver’s license for a previous driving
while intoxicated convictions.
Cooper was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated: Previous
Conviction, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the First Degree, Interlock Device, and moving from a Lane Unsafely.
Carter was arraigned in Warsaw Village Court and released. Cooper is to appear in Sheldon Town Court on October 15, 2024.

Deputies responded to an address on Friedman Road, in the Town of Bennington, on October 18, 2024, to serve a female an order of protection issued by Wyoming County Family Court. Upon arrival, Deputies were met at the door by Sara A. Weber, 38, of Bennington.
While attempting to serve Weber the order of protection, Weber obstructed with the process and refused to give back paperwork that needed to be filed with the court.
Weber was placed under arrest when she physically resisted with deputies during the
process.
Weber was charged with Obstruction of Governmental Administration and
Resisting Arrest. Weber was issued an appearance ticket and is due back in the Town
of Bennington Court on 10/28/24.

The Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office responded to a one car rollover motor vehicle accident with entrapment on Minkel Road across from the Strykersville Fire Department.
Once on scene, the fire department extricated the driver who was identified as Eliot Struzynski, 25 of S. Wales. Struzynski was transported to the Wyoming County Community Hospital.
An investigation by the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office found Struzynski to be driving a motor vehicle allegedly under the influence of alcohol. Subsequently, he was arrested and charged with DWI and issued tickets for driving while intoxicated and moving from lane unsafely. Struzynski is to answer the charges on November 18th, 2024.

Michael W. Perino, 23, of Madison, NJ, was arrested following a traffic stop on Route 20A in the Town of
Perry on October 23, 2024. Perino was stopped after being observed using a cell phone and crossing into the oncoming lane.
During the traffic stop, Perino was found to be in possession of an amount of Amphetamine, a controlled substance. Perino was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree, Operating a Motor Vehicle While Using a Portable Electronic Device, and Failed To Keep Right.
Perino was issued an appearance ticket and scheduled to answer the charges in the Town of Perry Court on November 6, 2024.
